Grove Lodge Veterinary Hospital , built in Worthing, West Sussex in 1958, was one of the first private veterinary hospitals in the country and is still one of only a small number on the South Coast, with branches across East and West Sussex in  Brighton ,  Portslade ,  Southwick , Lancing ,  Tarring  and  Durrington .

The wealth of expertise offered by our vets ensures we are one of the best first opinion and  referral  hospitals in the South East. We are also very pleased to be able to offer laparoscopic spaying at our  Brighton  and  Worthing  surgeries. We provide veterinary referrals to clients from all over the country, not just East and West Sussex, for specialities as follows:

Grove Lodge Vets  has always been a pioneering veterinary practice and we now have more than 100 members of staff working at 7  locations across Sussex , from Brighton to Durrington. We are extremely proud of the qualifications and commitment of all our staff.

Our philosophy is to be the best possible first-call practice with 24 hour cover at all times, with continuing investment in our  Hospital  and  branch surgeries . The maintenance of such high standards enables us to diagnose and treat all the common complaints that pets are likely to suffer, effectively, efficiently and economically, as well as rare and serious conditions requiring  specialised knowledge and equipment.

As a Practice,  Grove Lodge Vets  enjoys being involved in our local community. We are delighted to work alongside many local charities, including the  RSPCA at Patcham, nr Brighton , East Sussex. Every year, the team at our Brighton branch  joins in with their annual Open Day at Patcham with a stall and Grand Dog Show held at the Centre in Patcham, near Brighton.

We are very proud that in March 2013 we won the award for Best Veterinary Surgery at the prestigious annualBurgess Wetnose Animal Rescue Awards  in recognition of our work with local charities and our community in general. We are delighted to work closely with  Worthing and District Animal Rescue Service  ( WADARS ),  Dogs Trust Shoreham  Cats Protection  and  Lumpy Lodge  and love taking part in local events for these charities, including the WADARS Wagathon, Dogs Trust Open Day, Worthing Carnival and the Worthing Cats Protection Quiz to name but a few!
