We do our utmost in helping you, the owner, practice responsible pet ownership with our range of services including a mobile vet service for vaccination, text message and email reminders, newsletters and our very own App, as well as promoting pet insurance and offering a health plan. About us

As a well established surgery, our priority is to provide a professional and caring service to you and your pets. We use our excellent facilities and the latest equipment to ensure the care that your animal receives is the very best. Situated in South Croydon we cover a wide area in Surrey and parts of London. We are an independent practice, one of the last few remaining in the Croydon area and have been established since 1976 (originally known as Michael Nelson).

We are proud to be a Training Practice (TP) and boast 4 Clinical Coaches allowing us to train Student Veterinary Nurses on the degree courses available throughout the country. We accept Student Vets as well who also need to develop practical skills as part of their training. We understand the importance of training students and offer support while they develop their skills to become qualified.  You may see some of the students about at various times in the practice.


All qualified staff are required to keep up to date with skills and knowledge by completing a required number of hours of Continued Professional Development. All of our qualified Veterinary Nurses are registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. The Registration demonstrates to employers and the public that they are keeping their skills up to date and that they are accountable for their own actions. Registered Veterinary Nurses are entitled by law to undertake a range of veterinary treatment and minor procedures on animals
